Binsar:

It happened to us accidentally…we were planning a trip somewhere else but by gods grace Binsar called us.

Binsar is  a very small place in Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand. Its  situated at a height of around 2400mtrs above sea level and weather is mostly great round the year. Places like Almora, Ranikhet and Bageshwar are very close to this place. What you get here is 300 degree of view of Himalayan peaks such as Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, and Kedarnath. And yes don’t forget Binsar Bird sanctuary. It is a big habitat of flowers ,birds and animals.

Location and climate:

Binsar lies at a height of 2400 mtr. It is just 33 km from Almora. A fantastic place to enjoy Himalayas view .Binsar bird sanctuary is like a cherry on top.

Binsar is well connected with Roads with all major cities of Uttarakhand. Politically its lies in Almora district and is about 400 km from Delhi NCR. It is around 95km form Nainiatal.

By Air: Nearest Airport from Binsar is Pantanagr located at around 150km from this place. We have direct flights from Delhi to Pantanagr. From airport you can take taxis which are easily available there and will take around 4-5 hours from there to Binsar. Over all road connectivity is good and that should not be a problem

By Road:

This is always at your disposal. Ask me I will also always suggest to do this on road only. From which ever part of India you are coming, from Delhi take a cab and come and enjoy this or like us rent a bike. Roads are good…best part is when you travel on roads your travel time also becomes your journey which is not the case for Air travel…

You get to enjoy the beauty of Uttarakhand.
