The name is a combination of lord shiva and lord Vishnu name. This waterfall is surrounded by paddy fields and pine trees. Someshwar temple is very close to this fall. So at on ego you can cover both the locations. While you are trekking for this waterfall you will see many small caves and shrines which one should go . Gwaldam: Gwaldam is small town located in Garhwal which is covered with apple orchards and best part it offers fascinating view of Nanda devi peak. What we feel special is this place is not full of tourist an dis only 38 km from Kausani. Ideally you should spend 1 day at least here.
