Royal Enfield Calls back

As a “precautionary action,” Royal Enfield, the producer of Bullet Motorcycles, has recalled 2.3 Lacs units of its most popular motorcycle, the Classic 350, due to a potential brake issue.

The problem involves a J1A motorbike built between December 2020 and April 2021..

In accordance with the authorities’ norms, the company notified the industry body Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on Monday morning.

Royal Enfield acknowledged the news, stating that the company’s technical staff detected a potential fault with one of the parts used on the 2021 single-channel ABS and rear drum brake Classic 350 motorcycles: the brake reaction bracket attached to the motorbike swing arm.
