Delhi-Shimla Flight starts after 2 years

Delhi-Shimla Flight starts after 30 Months.

After a two-and-a-half-year halt, flight services between Delhi and Shimla will start again on September 6. There will be flights every day of the week.

All air operations will be managed by Alliance Air, an Air India subsidiary, on all three routes: Shimla-Delhi-Shimla, Shimla-Kullu-Shimla, and Dharamshala-Shimla-Dharamshala.

Flights from Dharamshala to Shimla will operate three and four days per week.

The State government intends to take over 50% of the seats on the Shimla-Dharamshala-Shimla and Shimla-Kullu-Shimla lines. Additionally, the company has acquired a fleet of fixed-wing ATR 600 aircraft, which will be used in Himachal Pradesh.
